'Everything I have today started in this room': Viih Tube cries as she meets her 13-year-old self in an AI-made video

Less than two months before deleting her profiles, the Brazilian influencer used AI to recreate the bedroom where she started and talked to the teenage version of herself who read every hateful comment.

Viih Tube has turned her farewell to social media into a reunion. In an AI-generated video posted on Thursday (Oct. 8), the 26-year-old influencer appears in the bedroom where she filmed her first videos and talks to a 13-year-old version of herself, who opens the scene with her old catchphrase, 'Oi, oi, meninas e meninos' ('Hi, hi, girls and boys'). The teenager asks whether adult Viih has gone crazy and whether she is really good at what she does, recalling the negative comments she used to get. 'I know, I read them all. You'll keep reading them for a long time, but they were wrong, and I came to tell you that,' the adult replies.

The most emotional moment comes at the end: Viih thanks the girl for continuing to film when nobody was watching ('Everything I have today started in this room with you. Thank you'), and her husband Eliezer walks in with their children, Lua and Ravi. When the teen asks who they are, the answer is 'the ones who came after.' The two end the video hugging and crying.

The video comes a day after the announcement that shook Brazilian social media: with 31.8 million Instagram followers and 15 million on TikTok, Viih said she will shut down her profiles on November 30 due to a 'lack of purpose' and will become a mentor for a 100-lesson course for aspiring content creators. Reactions were split: some fans wished her luck, while others called the early announcement a 'marketing' move to sell the course.
