According to TMZ and Dexerto, he died on September 25, but the news was only shared by his sister this week in a TikTok video of photos and memories of the two. Brenna, who has more than 4 million followers, called the loss 'sudden and unexpected' and wrote: 'As I'm typing this out, I still refuse to believe it.'
Braedon was diagnosed with a brain tumor as a young child, at around 5 or 6, and lived with health complications for years, spending much of the past year in and out of the hospital. No cause of death was given. In her tribute, Brenna said her brother's body 'was just done' fighting and described him as 'kind, funny, sweet, caring, and most of all brave,' someone 'so blissfully unaware of the hand he had been dealt in life.'
The siblings became known for yearly videos in which Braedon tore links off a paper chain to count down to dates like Christmas, Halloween and Thanksgiving. In 2025 the family paused the Christmas countdown after a major health scare because, in Brenna's words, 'we have to put his health first.' Now she says her accounts will serve as a 'time capsule' of their memories, and fans have filled the comments with messages of support.
